Fitzwilliam Crocker is an ancestor of Roy, Simon, Wade, Duke Crocker and Jean Mitchell, and was a resident of Haven, Maine.

In 1786, he commissioned silversmith Regis Glendower to construct two boxes for him, which then passed down through more than 200 years of the Crocker family.
