The Haven Yacht Club is a boating association located in Haven, Maine, near the intersection of McCausland Street and Poplar Street.
In October of 2010, a car crash occurred outside the Yacht Club when T. J. Smith's car was swarmed by gnats.[1]
In November of 2010, following an explosion of a boat in Haven Harbor[2] the Haven Yacht Club's annual Parade of Ships had to be slightly rerouted after the e.[3]
The Haven Yacht Club also sponsors boat safety and best practices courses, which are taught the first and third Sunday of each month by resident Jimmy Grogan.[3]
