Kirk Bowers is a member of The Guard, and a resident of Haven, Maine.
History[]
When Ginger Danvers was kidnapped by the Guard as an insurance to ensure Audrey Parker entered the Barn, Kirk seemed to be the one in charge of the operation. When Nathan Wuornos sided with Audrey over the Guard, Kirk deemed him as a hostile. Kirk was later present at The Barn itself when Audrey was about to enter, until he was ordered by Vince Teagues to leave, which he did so obediently.
In Mortality, Kirk confronts Dwight about wasting his time with Charlotte Cross while people are dying in town. Kirk makes it clear to Dwight that he disapproves of him being leader. Dwight orders him home but when Kirk heads down the hallway, Duke knocks him out, unknowingly causing Kirk's trouble to activate.
In Reflections he is spotted stealing the Aether from the precinct; Dwight concludes that Kirk has gone over the edge and lost his mind, desperate to end his Trouble. Nathan and Duke find Kirk's residence behind a strip club, but Kirk is absent, along with the Aether. In Chemistry he is confronted by Duke at the docks, who believes Kirk has kidnapped Mara and demanding to know where she is. When he struggles and insists that he doesn't know, Duke's trouble kicks in and Duke accidentally kills him, absorbing Kirk's Trouble in the process.

Notes[]
- Kirk's last name of "Bowers" is a reference to Henry Bowers from Stephen King's other work "It", and may be related to Henry somehow. If so, this would explain why Kirk was so unstable, as it is made clear that both Henry and his father Butch are highly sociopathic
- It has been inferred that Kirk may have had something to do with the death of Dwight's daughter Lizzie, hence why there is so much animosity between the two
